Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th June 2009.
The Vago Inland Championships were held at Grafham on the 13th and 14th June. It was great to see the Vago fleet with the different sail combinations as well as two handed and single-handed.
The weather was just right on the Saturday with 3 races, the first being won by Dave Baxter single-handed and Jan Kuhlmann with Daniel Gheorghin coming in 2nd. They went on to win the next 2 races giving them a strong position over night. Martin and Emma Keen came in 3rd. The wind was strong enough to really get out on the wire and go; a very enjoyable day was had by all.
Sunday started windy but by the time the race was under way it dropped to light which made the race interesting and gave the single-handers a bit more of an edge.
