Training Weekend at Rutland Sailing Club - 4th and 5th April
Another excellent start to the season with instruction from Ben and his team at Rutland Water. Tuition was as usual adapted to develop all standards with the limit of 20 boats quickly filled.

Open Meeting at Draycote Water Sailing Club - 18th and 19th April
An excellent inland venue that really couldn’t be more central. Whilst this was an Open Meeting, a huge amount of support was on hand as usual for novices and those starting to race.
A superb Menu was available and there was a New Racing Rules Session after the meal :)

Inland Nationals at Grafham Water Sailing Club – 13th & 14th Jun
Having warmed up at Draycote this second racing weekend of the year saw a return to Grafham Water, a fantastic sailing venue not far from Cambridge.
Part of a Laser Multiclass event put us on the water with Laser 2's, 2000's, 3000's and 4000's and saw Dave Baxter become our first Single Handed Inland Champion!

A skill building weekends with top coaching organised by Laser at the National Sailing Academy; home of the 2012 Olympic sailing of course.

Laser Asymmetric Regatta at Rutland Sailing Club – 17th & 18th October
We were delighted to be invited back to this superb reservoir in the Midlands as Rutland Sailing Club played host to the final event scheduled for 2009 for Laser Vagos as we joined the Laser 2000, 4000 and 5000 fleets.
